Refund Policy

1. General Policy

SeedVault India is committed to providing valuable seed conservation services. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be provided for our paid programs and services.

2. Free Services

Most of SeedVault India's basic services are provided free of charge, including:

• Basic seed conservation information
• Community networking
• General educational resources
• Volunteer program participation

No refunds apply to free services.

3. Paid Programs

For premium services such as:

• Advanced training workshops
• Professional certification programs
• Specialized seed storage equipment
• Expert consultation services

4. Refund Conditions

Refunds may be provided under the following circumstances:

4.1 Training Programs

• Full refund: Cancellation 14 days before program start date
• 50% refund: Cancellation 7-13 days before program start date
• No refund: Cancellation less than 7 days before start date

4.2 Equipment and Materials

• Full refund: Defective items returned within 30 days
• Partial refund: Unopened items returned within 14 days (minus shipping costs)
• No refund: Used or opened seed storage materials

4.3 Consultation Services

• Full refund: Service cancellation 48 hours before scheduled appointment
• No refund: Services already rendered or late cancellations

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

• Digital downloads once accessed
• Customized seed collection kits
• Travel and accommodation costs for field programs
• Third-party certification fees

6. Refund Process

To request a refund:

1. Contact our support team at refunds@seedvaultindia.com
2. Provide your order number and reason for refund request
3. Allow 5-7 business days for review
4. Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days

7. Force Majeure

In case of cancellations due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control, we will offer:

• Full credit toward future programs
• Rescheduling at no additional cost
• Refunds at our discretion
